Paintball field software for several fields and a stock of paintballs
A paintball park takes players in teams: one group walks out onto a field while the next is already getting its gear. Paintball field software has to spread these games across the fields, count paintballs that are used up by the case and show how much the park really earned over the season.
A woodland field and a hangar for storming
Every field is a separate resource whose services section lists only the game scenarios that are possible there, so in online booking a team cannot pick a building assault on the woodland plot. A field's working hours can be recurring for the whole season or one-time for specific dates, such as a public holiday that falls on a weekday, and those dates can be cloned. Several time slots can be set within one day, so there is time to reset the field between the morning and the evening game.
Paintballs that arrive by the case
Paintballs are bought in large lots and sold to players in smaller portions, which is where product repackaging and custom units of measurement come in. Every delivery is entered as a document with its purchase cost. When a team runs out of paint mid-game, an extra portion goes into an order in the same booking and is written off the stock once it is paid. The product consumption report shows how many paintballs left the warehouse over a period, at what average price per unit and for what total amount. At the end of the season, a stock count compares the records with the paintballs physically left in storage. The first steps are laid out in the guide to starting warehouse tracking.
A team that comes back every month
A regular team's game is usually booked under the captain's name. A discount keyed to the visit number can be tied to a specific game in the count, and its statistics can be limited to bookings with game services, so other visits do not move the threshold closer. A gift certificate for a game for a friend is issued right there at the front desk.
Paintballs, markers and the season's results
In the profit and loss report, the product sales line expands into individual items, showing how much the park earned on paintballs. Expenses such as marker repairs or land rental should go in as separate cash documents, because without them the report shows income only. How to read the table and drill down to a single document is the subject of the P&L report walkthrough.
Paintball belongs to the events and leisure businesses, next to escape rooms, go-karting and bowling.
