Laser hair removal software for a course, from intake form to final session
A laser hair removal studio sells courses: the same client comes back for the same body area several times with long gaps in between, and between sessions it is easy to lose track of both the client and the count. Laser hair removal software has to remember how many sessions are already paid for, what the client answered on the intake form and when it is time for them to come back.
A membership per body area instead of a notebook
It helps to set up each body area as its own service and to limit a visit-based membership template to the areas it covers and to a validity period. The client gets a membership from that template, and each session for that area is deducted on its own, even when the booking was made online. The guide to selling memberships explains how to build a lineup of packages for different areas.
A contraindication form before the first visit
A studio needs to know about contraindications before the client is under the device, so the form goes out as a survey ahead of the session. A mailing rule can be filtered by service, resource, status, source and category, and each of those can be included or excluded. That way only people booked for laser sessions receive it, not those coming in for an initial consultation. Add a review screen to the survey, and feedback at the end of the course lands straight in the main reviews section. When a rule is deactivated, the survey mailings under it stop on their own.
Prepayment for expensive device time
A session on a large area ties up both the device and the specialist for a long stretch, so a no-show hurts more here than in an ordinary salon. It makes sense to narrow the online payment rule: a mandatory deposit for new clients or for long services, while an appointment left unpaid in time is canceled automatically and the slot opens up again. A client with an active membership has nothing to pay, because the membership is checked before the payment offer appears. The guide to prepayment covers how to pick the amount and the rules.
The gaps between sessions, when the client is not in the studio
Most of a course happens between visits. A reminder of the "after appointment" type goes out a set time after the session, so you make that interval match what the specialist recommends for the area, and the client receives a booking link right when it is due. Tie the reminder to the service, and before any separate mailing to the base, check that the person has no upcoming appointment yet.
Memberships have their own date-based reminders, such as a message a few days before expiry about sessions still unused. One option skips the message for anyone who has already bought another membership matching the reminder, which spares clients who moved on to a new area from an extra text. Every schedule type is described in the article on reminders for memberships, and other beauty formats, from cosmetology to tanning, have their own pages in the beauty industry overview.
