Lash and brow studio software built around touch-up cycles
Brows grow out and lash extensions shed over time, so a client returns to the studio at a fairly predictable interval. Lash and brow studio software should hold that rhythm steady with no calls from the administrator, sell gift certificates and win back the people who dropped out of the schedule.
A touch-up the studio reminds the client about
Lamination, tinting and lash fills each run on a different cycle, so reminders are set up per service. A reminder of the "after appointment" type sends its message after a gap the studio chooses, and that gap is set to match the client's real interval between visits. The text refers to their previous visit and carries a booking link, so they pick the time themselves. Choose the channel as you would for ordinary reminders: Telegram costs less, while SMS always gets through. The guide to touch-up reminders shows how to find your own interval from the history of regular clients.
A brow lamination certificate as a gift
Brows and lashes are a popular present, and what the buyer needs is a certificate for an amount rather than a membership: it belongs to whoever holds it and is not tied to specific services. A certificate assigned to a client shows up on their card, so a lost printout does not turn into an argument. Discounts reduce the price first, and only then is the certificate checked. The guide to launching certificate sales lists what to decide before the first sale.
Clients who stopped coming
A mailing to the client base is filtered so it reaches people who used to come regularly and then vanished, not everyone at once. To bring someone back, a promotion tied to a particular visit works better than a standing discount that cheapens the price list. For an ad campaign you create a separate booking source with its own link, and the discount applies automatically to everyone who books through it.
Studio money: when the certificate is already in the register but the treatment is not
Certificates and memberships reach the cash register on the day they are sold, while the treatment they pay for happens later, sometimes in the following month. So a gift sold in December shows up in the register right away, but the profit from it appears only when the client comes in for the treatment. The unused balance of certificates and memberships is worth reconciling once a month as something the studio still owes, not as income.
An artist's pay for a visit deducted from a membership does not drop to zero either. A pay rule can take the membership price into account: for a visit-based membership the system divides its price by the initial number of visits and calculates pay from that amount. The financial results report then shows how much each artist brought in and what share of it went to their pay. The article on pay calculation rules covers the remaining settings, and related lines of work, from nail care to cosmetology, have their own pages in the directory of beauty businesses.
