Ask an AI assistant about your Wlaunch data

What a business owner or manager can ask Claude or another AI assistant about clients, appointments, finance and the team through the Wlaunch MCP server

Finding out how much a branch earned or which clients have not been back for a while usually means finding the right report, setting the filters and putting the numbers together. An AI assistant connected to Wlaunch through the MCP server does that for you: you ask in plain words, and it reads the data it needs and answers.

How it works

The assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client) connects to the Wlaunch MCP server with your personal token and reads data through 25 tools: clients, appointments, schedules, services, memberships, orders, finance, payroll, inventory, ratings, surveys, messages, and the P&L, cash-flow, cash-balance, statistics and retention reports.

Two things are worth knowing up front:

  • the assistant only reads and changes nothing in Wlaunch;
  • the assistant sees as much as your account does, and no more.

What you can ask

Questions work best when they are the ones you would ask a manager, not the ones you would type into a database.

Clients who stopped coming

"Which clients haven't booked since last month?"

The assistant builds the list from the booking history. Whether to contact those clients, offer a discount or set up a reminder is your call, made in Wlaunch: the assistant only shows who it concerns.

Revenue and cash flow

"What was our revenue last month, broken down by service?"

For finance questions the assistant has the P&L, cash-flow and cash-balance reports.

A branch's schedule

"Show me the schedule for our main branch next Tuesday."

Useful before planning the day.

Why a client did not get a reminder

"A client says she never got her reminder. What happened?"

The assistant checks the messages sent to that client and the appointment the reminder was for. If the cause is in your notification settings, you change them in Wlaunch.

How the team performed

"How did each specialist perform in the first half of June?"

It is a quick way to prepare for a conversation with the team.

Memberships, inventory, ratings and surveys

  • "How many memberships did we sell this month?"
  • "Which products are lowest in stock?"
  • "What ratings did clients give last month?"
  • "What did clients answer in surveys last month?"

Client retention

"How has client retention changed?"

The retention report shows whether clients come back, and the assistant helps you read it without assembling tables by hand.

Start with the company context

The first question after connecting: "What companies can this integration see?" The assistant calls the wlaunch_company_context tool and lists your companies.

The same tool returns the company's own vocabulary: appointment statuses, branches, tags and finance operation types. The assistant will usually read that vocabulary first and run other queries afterwards.

What the assistant does not do

  • It does not change data. No tool creates, edits, cancels or deletes anything: the assistant will not book an appointment, change a price or add a client. Every action stays with you in Wlaunch.
  • It does not bypass access rights. Every request is made as your account, with the same rights as the back office. If your account cannot see a branch's payroll, neither can your assistant.

That is why each person on the team should get their own token: an administrator's assistant sees what that administrator sees.

How to start

  1. Check that you have the Extended license: the MCP server is part of it, together with API integrations.
  2. Ask Wlaunch support for a personal access token.
  3. Connect your assistant with the short instructions in the knowledge base.

Common questions

Can the assistant book a client or cancel an appointment?

No. Every tool only reads data, so you change appointments, prices and clients in Wlaunch.

Will the assistant see the data of every branch?

Only the branches your account can see. The server applies the same access rights as the back office.

Which assistants can I connect?

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex CLI, ChatGPT and other MCP clients that work over HTTP and let you set a header. The developers page has instructions for each.

How much does it cost?

The MCP server is part of the Extended license. The pricing calculator shows its price for your number of resources and branches.
