Nail salon software for technicians who work back to back
A nail salon runs on short appointments that follow one another all day, while the technicians' hands stay busy with files, lamps and gel. Nail salon software has to spare technicians trips to the front desk, pay them fairly for different kinds of work and find out from clients how the polish is holding up. Nail care sits alongside the other lines of beauty and personal care businesses, yet its day is shaped differently.
A minute between two clients
While the lamp cures the gel, the technician opens the staff app on their phone: who is next, and the client card with a colleague's note on nail shape or the shade the client chose last time. Right after the appointment they add what was done, so the next technician gets that information without it passing through the administrator. A rescheduled appointment or an extra slot shows up in the app straight away, not after a call from the front desk. The app costs nothing, works on both Android and iOS, and a technician can install it on their own phone. The guide to the staff app explains how it differs from the app your clients use.
Nail art is paid differently from a basic manicure
Extensions or hand-painted art take longer than a removal and a fresh coat, and technicians rarely accept one flat percentage for everything. In the appointment pay rule you set a standard percentage or a fixed amount, and for particular services you add individual rates that are used in place of the standard one. When a technician takes an advance in the middle of the month, the Mutual settlements section shows their balance on any date you pick, with what the salon owes or has overpaid, built from confirmed accruals, bonuses, fines and payouts.
A survey once the manicure has been worn
You cannot judge gel polish on the day it goes on, only after the client has worn it for a few days. A post-visit survey is scheduled for that moment, and the mailing rule can be narrowed to certain services or a single technician, for example a new hire. If one of the survey screens is a review screen, the answer is saved to the main reviews list and only counts toward the technician's rating after the administrator activates it. That way a complaint about chipping reaches the salon first, not the next client browsing the booking form. Unfinished surveys and partial answers are visible in the statistics as well. The guide to getting client reviews covers when and how to ask for feedback.
A promotion technicians do not lose out on
A discount can be limited to specific services, such as removal and a fresh coat, and it then applies by itself, online bookings included. So that technicians do not lose out on such a promotion, the pay rule can compensate them for the discount either in full or at the same percentage they earn on the regular price.
