Physical therapy practice software for courses planned weeks ahead
A rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinic works in courses: a patient comes not once but for a series of visits, often to several specialists. Physical therapy practice software has to keep the whole course in the schedule from the first session to the last, track how many sessions are left and not lose the patient when they take a break.
A course of treatment at the same time every week
A patient finds it easiest to come on Tuesday and Friday at the same hour for as long as the prescribed course runs. The front desk creates the first week's appointments and then clones them up to 90 days ahead, starting from a chosen date, so every later visit is already in the schedule. If the course moves, appointments are dragged to a new time or to another specialist right on the schedule instead of being entered again. A resource manager can also clone appointments one at a time when a single extra session has to be added to the course.
Therapeutic exercise in a group with a seat limit
A group exercise class is a separate event in the system, with a date, a resource and a seat limit, not an appointment for several people. A membership for a number of sessions is deducted automatically when attendance is marked, and an individual session with the same specialist cannot land on the time of their group, because both occupy one resource. Seat limits, the waiting list and payment are covered in the guide to booking small groups.
Sessions left on a membership, and a break in the course
When few sessions are left on a membership, a balance-change notification fires at the threshold you set, and the patient learns about it before the last visit. Which membership a visit was charged to is visible in the appointment details. Channels are tried in the order you set, for example Telegram first, then Email and only then SMS. If a patient has to pause the course, the membership is frozen, and appointments that fall into the freeze period move to the status you chose. The patient has the same freeze options as the administrator and can arrange the pause on their own. How many times and for how many days a membership can be frozen is set out in the help article on membership freezes.
How one patient sees several specialists without overlaps
In rehabilitation, one person often sees a massage therapist and an exercise specialist and joins a group class on the same day. Blocking simultaneous bookings across different staff members keeps two visits from landing at the same hour, and the administrator, seeing the warning, decides whether to enter the appointment by hand. This is how physical therapy practice software helps build a patient's day out of several sessions in a row.
Surveys before the first visit and after the course collect answers nobody has to copy from paper. Survey sends are scheduled so the message arrives after the last session of the course rather than in the middle of it. The clinic belongs to Wlaunch's healthcare line, next to psychology and women's health clinics.
